Sportradar announces a global reorganization
Sportradar has announced it will reorganize its operations across the company, moving towards a "more regional approach" that will support future growth.
The new structure, from January 1, 2021, will aim to continue Sportradar's transformation from a leading betting data provider to a global technology company.
While Carsten Koerl will remain CEO of the group, the three regional CEOs will lead operations worldwide.
Arne Rees becomes CEO of North America operations, Werner Becher oversees UK / EMEA and Latin America, and Eduard Blonk temporarily oversees Asia Pacific.
Sportradar says the reorganization will enable the supplier to continue to leverage global product development, operations and engineering infrastructure.
The changes will enable businesses to operate closer to end markets, which will enable them to better support the needs of customers, regulators and sports laws.
Koerl said: “Sportradar is fully committed to delivering an unparalleled experience to our customers and partners.
“Our updated structure will increase our level of customer friendliness, agility and overall responsiveness while leveraging our massive global scale.
"This reorganization is a critical step for the future growth of the company and we will continue to ambitiously set the bar high in the industry."
