Illegal gaming machines and drugs

Last Monday, policemen from the Department for Combating Economic Crime of the County Police Headquarters in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, together with officers of the Świętokrzyski Customs and Tax Office in Kielce, secured 3 slot machines that could be used to conduct illegal gambling games and over PLN 9,000 in cash. In addition, they detained two men suspected of drug possession.

Last Monday, policemen from Ostrowiec, who deal with combating economic crime on a daily basis, together with officers of the Świętokrzyskie Customs and Tax Office in Kielce, conducted activities in one of the premises in the city, due to the suspicion of illegal gambling there. On the spot, they revealed and secured 3 vending machines that could be used to carry out this practice, and money in the amount of over PLN 9,000, probably from crime.

Illegal vending machines and cash were secured by officers of the Świętokrzyskie Customs and Tax Office in Kielce. The circumstances of the case will be clarified during the proceedings. During the operations, the police detained 4 people aged 19 to 47 inside the premises. One male, 32-year-old, carried a white substance that was initially identified as amphetamine weighing 2 grams.

On the other hand, the 47-year-old had nearly 15 grams of this substance. Yesterday both men faced drug possession allegations. In addition, the 32-year-old will be responsible for providing prohibited measures against payment.
